July SmileScope

Smile Scopes are a way for many of us to connect with our inner spirit and be reminded of joy! This connection can be made with descriptions, animals, numbers, crystals, etc. Each person can develop his or her own comfortable connection by exploring the things that make them smile.

 Smile Scope for July:

 Independence, Barbecue and YOU!

Are you “done” yet?

Are you listening to your own inner voice or the voices of those around you? Do you often feel excitement over a possibility, opportunity or project only to allow that excitement to be doused by the “bucket of cold water” in the form of others opinions. Many people in your life truly are well meaning. You need to stand up for yourself. If you are feeling that strong sense of excitement or pull to head in a certain direction, honor that. You can always be grateful for the input of others but ultimately you need to make your own decisions as well as have the strength to stand by them even in the face of other peoples disapproval.

Are you “done” yet? Are you completely “cooked” and ready to move on to your next phase in life? Have you given yourself enough time to rest? Have you added in the necessary spices in life to make it truly an experience to savor? Are you prepared for the messes that come along the way?

We are all trying to be cooked to perfection in each phase of our lives. We all want to bring good things to the table and sample and experience what others bring as well. During your next barbecue, try to determine if you are ready to move on. Begin asking to learn your life lessons through joy and “spice” rather than “the school of hard knocks.”

Learning through joy includes manifesting! Manifest new fun things in your life by putting your nose to work! Part of the summer season is closely related to smells. The smell of the barbec

ue, campfire, flowers, cut grass, cotton candy and all the other smells we associate with fun in the sun help make the season what it is for each of us. Manifesting works best when we are able to capture the feeling of what it would be like AFTER we receive what we are trying to manifest. Got that? Basically, PRETEND! Imagine how you would feel!

If you are manifesting a new job, sit for a few minutes and try to imagine how you would feel if you had the perfect new job. Would you feel relief, joy, and excitement? Now, bring in smells. It is easier to imagine when you smell something that you like but isn’t too distracting. For example, I love the smell of Apple Pie but that would make me hungry while I am manifesting! I stick with Lavender, Vanilla, etc. You use what you like during your manifesting sessions. That way every time you smell them, you will be reminded of your goal in a positive way! How awesome is that!

Enjoy your summer each step of the way with all of your senses!

Take time to breathe today. Take time to see something beautiful today. Take time to smell something good today. And last but not least, take time to SMILE today!
