Mickie graduated from SUNY At Albany in 2012 with a degree in English Creative Writing and Communication, and have enjoyed been part of the Smile Monster Project for around 3 years running. When I first joined, I had been dealing with some major depression issues, but surrounding myself with the positive energy and community benefits that Team Smile Monster brings to the table has helped me immensely, and has significanty impacted the quality of my personal life and those around me.

Aside from SmileMonster, I work in an office environment as a high speed data specialist and genuinely enjoy my work. I also am working on a number of amateur writing projects in my spare time.

 Nicole Ranieri
Nicole is originally from Long Island. She first moved to Albany in 2004 when she decided to attend college at the University of Albany, where she received her B.A. in English in 2008. Nicole returned to Albany in 2011 and once again attended the University, this time as a graduate student, and received her M.A. in English in May of 2013. She hopes to continue living in Albany.

In her free time, Nicole likes to bake cookies and read (and re-read) all of the books taking over her bookshelf. She also likes to throw spontaneous dance parties for one, set to 90’s music, in her living room. Nicole loves movies, her pets (Venus and Dragon), and of course, smiling. She enjoys working with SmileMonster and attending all of the wonderful events that happen in and around the Capital Region.
