Keep it short. Keep it simple.

iStock_000014882807XSmallThis month ask yourself, “Am I the person that I thought I would be?” Are you? Are you healthier in mind, body and spirit than you were yesterday, months or years ago? Keep it simple. Yes or no.

All the explanations in the world will not change who you are today. All the blame directed at other people, life, or circumstances will not change who you are today. All the wishing, hoping, etc. will not change who you are today.

Accept who you are today. Accept all the beauty, all the flaws and everything in between. Acceptance is not giving up and saying, “Oh well, this is who I am.” Acceptance gives you a starting point. Acceptance allows you to take a breath, see where you have been and where you are now so that you can being to look forward to the person you will become.

YOU are an amazing person. With talents and gifts, with flaws and imperfections and with intelligence and spirit. Accepting who you are makes it possible to keep what you love about yourself and improve what may need improving.

This is a short month. It is a perfect month for a burst of action! What changes do you see that need to be made? Choose just one to begin. Leave the others alone. Focus on the one and begin your journey of change. Keep it short. Keep it simple.

Take time to breathe today. Take time to see something beautiful today. Take time to smell something good today. And last but not least, take time to SMILE today!
